HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) today announced that two taskforces taking on tax cheats in South Wales and South West England have collected over £20 million in just three years.
Small and medium-sized high-tech companies are being invited to a free workshop in Plymouth on support available for business growth, research and development (R&D) tax credits and innovation. The event will be held on Wednesday 9 April at the Tamar Science Park, Plymouth.
A taskforce tackling tax dodgers in the holiday industry in Blackpool, Lake District, North Wales, Devon and Cornwall, Isles of Scilly, Somerset and South Wales was launched today by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
HMRC is responsible for making sure that the money is available to fund the UK’s public services and for helping families and individuals with targeted financial support.
